I'm looking forward to this concert next week. Some of my favorite performers are taking part - Natalia Dopwell, Raymond Edwards and Nigel Floyd. Two good upcoming youngsters too - Tahirah and Feryal. So there's a lot to look forward to and I can't wait for Friday.

I was not disappointed. This concert provided a platform for our very talented performers. The Cosi fan tutte section was great comedy/satire, the singing and acting of the cast superb. Then the second half was most entertaining and delightful music superbly sung.

Special among the cast was Fritz N-Gurley and Raymond Edwards in their scene, Charris Thompson and Lesley Lewis in most beautifully sung arias, and of course the singing and dramatic acting of Natalia Dopwell in the role of Marguerite - a wowan who had killed her child and mother, and while in jail sings this most sorrowful, grief stricken lament which was so moving that we all wiped a tear - when Nigel Floyd enters to offer solace to his beloved in the final scene they sang a duet that so grasped our attention that everyone sat spellbound after the last note was sung, before bursting into applause. Congratulations to June Nathaniel and the CMDFTT for bringing us this most entertaining production - MORE PLEASE!
